So the rumours have been confirmed and Sony indeed has upped their game with the remarkably dense 4k display screen with the Xperia Z5 Premium. And premium it is with starters on the shiny, mirror surfaced back chasis. A nitemare for OCD users, this fingerprint magnet does exude a sense of luxury - if you don't mind the occasional wipe-down on the backing to avoid greasy marks.
It is noticeably larger, clocking in at 5.5-inch for screen size. Overall it is the larger sibling of the Z5 and Z5 Compact, drummed in with an incredible 3840 x 2160 resolution screen. That is an insane 808ppi that arguably paired with the X-Reality engine will become the new screen viewing standard in time to come (or so Sony says).
Prided on their battery longevity, the adequate 3430mAh battery will sustain two solid days of normal mobile usage. Overall, we do think the Z5 Premium will give its competitors a run for their money with its noticeably spec upgrades since the Z3+. Sony fans will be appeased.
